Better together

People stick with habits longer when someone else is in on it.

One treadmill, two people#

Take turns: one walks while the other picks the show. Or alternate days and text each other a ✓ when you're done.

Long-distance buddies#

Sign in and add each other under Walking buddies in Your corner. You'll see each other's streaks and minutes this week, and who has walked today.

Keep it kind#

The point is support, not competition. A message like "Five minutes counts, go get it" beats "You're behind."

Make it a ritual#

Same time, same day, same cue. "After dinner, we walk" is easier to keep than "we'll walk sometime".
