Shift-work walking
When your 'morning' changes every week, anchor walks to your shift instead of the clock.
Anchor to the shift#
Walk at the same point in your day: right after you wake, or before you leave. The clock time can change; the cue stays.
Protect sleep#
Avoid hard walks just before sleeping. A gentle walk after a night shift is fine if it helps you wind down; bright light right before bed may not be.
Short counts double here#
Five or ten minutes on a busy rotation keeps the habit alive. Your weekly goal matters more than any single day.
