Walking while fasting
Many people keep walking through Ramadan or other fasts. Timing and gentleness make the difference.
Pick your time#
Shortly before breaking the fast, or an hour or two after a meal, often feels best. Keep it easy.
Hydrate when you can#
Drink water steadily between sunset and the pre-dawn meal.
Go shorter#
Five to fifteen easy minutes is plenty. This is a month to keep the habit, not to push.
Check with your doctor#
Especially if you have diabetes or take medicines that affect blood sugar or blood pressure. Stop if you feel dizzy or faint.
